Hebrews 2:3 How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him;
2 Chronicles 29:11 My sons, be not now negligent: for the LORD hath chosen you to stand before him, to serve him, and that ye should minister unto him, and burn incense.
Matthew 18:17 And if he shall neglect to hear them, tell it unto the church: but if he neglect to hear the church, let him be unto thee as an heathen man and a publican.
NEGLECTION SPIRIT CAUSES SEPERATION OF FAMILY AND SEPERATION OF CHURCH 39 The world's a looking for something today. When your little wife told you she'd be your sweetheart and wife, she was looking for somebody to love her. And when you promised your husband, he was looking for somebody when he come in tired and weary from working all day, some little wife to put her arms around him and kindy brush his hair back, and tell him how much she loved him.
That's what causes separation in families, is the neglect of love. That's what causes the separation in churches: neglect of love. We've got to have love.

SIN OF NEGLECTION IS DANGEROUS 31 But how much more dangerous is it to pour out the balm of God—God's remedy. Make fun of it and call if fanaticism, blaspheme the Holy Ghost. There'll be no excuses when you're asked why. It's a dangerous thing to do that, dangerous to neglect your body. Well, the medicine if the doctor's got it for your ailment… More dangerous to neglect the balm for your soul, 'cause God's got it.
Now, you can't lay it on say, "Well, it ain't… It's the doctor's fault." No. "They haven't got the medicine." They got it. You can't say… It isn't God's fault. It's your fault if you don't get it. It's here for you and an invitation to whosoever will: Methodist, Baptists, Presbyterian.
Pentecost is not an organization. I know they try to organize it, but you can't. Pentecost is an experience that goes to Methodists, Baptists, Presbyterian, Catholic, whosoever will let him come. Black, white, yellow, brown, whoever he is. It's God's remedy. It's His balm for sin. There is a Balm in Gilead. Someday we're going to ask why we didn't take it.
60-1126 - Why?
Rev. William Marrion Branham SATAN MAKE YOU TO NEGLECT PHYSICAL AND SPIRITUAL THIRST SO THAT YOU CAN PERISH 178 I want you to see another great danger, just before we close, if you are not—if you're not guilty of any of these things that I've mentioned, and, that is, the danger of neglecting a thirst. See? You say, "I have a holy thirst. But I—I'm not guilty, Brother Branham, of just go and joining church, and things like this." But, see, to neglect a thirst! If you neglect to satisfy a thirst of water or food, you will die. And if you neglect that thirst in you, for God, you will spiritually die.
179 You call for revivals, you wait for your church to have a revival. Well, that ain't—that ain't the revival for you. The revival ought to begin right in you, when you begin to thirst for God. There might not be another member, of the church, wanting that revival. If it breaks out in you, it will break out other places. See? But, see, you neglect that thirst.
180 You neglect to milk the cow, when the cow is… the udder is full of milk; and if you let that cow stay like that, she'll go dry. That's exactly right. If you neglect to take a drink of water, say, "I just ain't going to drink anymore," you'll die. You neglect to eat food, you'll die.

YOUR CARELESS NEGLIGENCE CAN CAUSE YOU OR SOMEONE TO SIN (E.G. Bathsheda The Wife Of Uriah) 112 Look at David. How could he have done… One jumped into a pit and killed a lion. How could David take Uriah's wife, the beautiful Bathsheba, when he had five hundred of his own? But seen her taking a bath, and there's the negligence. Now, she just forgot to pull the shades down when she was taking her bath, and knowed that king made a trip there, by there, every day, down over that wall.
That's what's the matter. I don't think women today so neglect or so, well, they just simply go out naked (That's all.) in the streets, little old clothes on. It's a disgrace, and then wonder why men blow and whistle. Why, they do that to make them whistle and carry on. They know that; they got sense enough to know that. They do it just because they want to. It's in their heart. You tell them they're immoral; they might dispute that. But they might not be immoral; they might be as pure as a lily, when it comes sexually. But remember, there's a spirit on them that's anointing of the devil, sending some man's soul to hell. Remember, the Bible said, "Whosoever looketh upon a woman to lust after her, hath committed adultery with her in his heart already."
And remember, sister, you'll answer for committing adultery though you never done it actually in all your life, but that sinner that looked at you the way you dressed, be guilty of adultery. You'll answer at the day of judgment for committing adultery. When he has to say…

WHEN THINGS ARE GOING FINE WE FORGOT AND NEGLECT HIM; BUT GOD SAID IF WE NEGLECT HIM IF DAY OF CALAMITIES COME TO US HE WILL LAUGH US
36 Israel always getting out of the harmony of God… Nothing goes right till you come back to harmony of God. And now, they'd just been delivered from a—an alien army. And instead of turning to the Lord, they turned right back away from Him again. Isn't it strange? We'll get sick; the baby will be so sick till we just don't know what to do. Mother will wring her hands. And her and dad will say, "Oh, God, we'll serve You if You'll just heal this baby." And the baby gets well. Then you forget about it. See, see? So easy to forget about it. Yes, sir.
And you'll see a accident that just almost takes your life and you'll say, "Oh, if I would've died… Lord, thank You for sparing me. I'm going to serve You." Then forget about it (See?), until one's done caught you. See? And then—then it's too late. See, you—you always… The people usually forget God. They don't always do it, thank God for that. But mostly it's so easy to forget when everything's going good. Then you know, He said if you would neglect Him, and wouldn't serve Him, then when your calamity comes He'd just laugh at you. You see? So you must remember; we must keep God first always.
62-0124 - Have Not I Sent Thee?
Rev. William Marrion Branham
A WOMAN WHO WAS HEALED OF TB PROMISE TO BAPTISE IN JESUS NAME, BUT WHEN SHE GOT WELL NEGLECT TO FULFILL HER PROMISE THUS FELL A VICTIM OF DEMON OF FEVER OF 104 DEGREE TEMPRETURE 91 I see Sister Weaver standing here, was one of the as bad of cancer cases that I've seen in all my life. And the first thing I asked her, would she be baptized in the Name of Jesus Christ and confess her sins. When I took her in this water here, I had to hold her, she was so thin, her arms just little bitty things. And she was baptized in the Name of Jesus Christ, and that's at least been ten years ago, hasn't it sister? [A sister says, "Been sixteen years."—Ed.] Sixteen years ago. Sixteen years of spared life, because she was willing to come in obedience when the very best of doctors around here…
Why, her own doctor told me… When I told him he—told him, said, "She's healed."
93 Said, "Oh, she'll die with cancer in a few weeks. Don't worry about that. She'll be gone, in another few weeks she'll be gone." And he already just give her about a day to live. And here she is today after sixteen years standing at the altar. What more could I say, over and over, and over and over how…
Now, God just doesn't do that for one of His children and doesn't do it for another children. He does it for all of His children: "Whosoever will may come." It's… You're invited to Him. Now, the prayer of faith shall save the sick. The Bible said that.
Now—now, if… What I want you to do is confess your wrongs to God, and say, "Lord, heal me." If you have never been converted, give your hearts to Christ. And if you have never been baptized in water in the Name of Jesus Christ, there's a pool ready. See?
96 And this little lady across the street here when that infidel there was converted by it, when she was laying, they sent her home in Silvercrest with TB, dying. And when I went down there and the Lord gave a vision, said she was going to be healed. And he met me there the next morning, Mr. Andrews, and just bawled me out said, "A false hope like that upon that woman."
I said, "Mr. Andrews, it is not a false hope. The woman is a Christian, and when she gets able, she's coming to be baptized."
And he said, "She's dying." Said, "I… how could she be sent home from Silvercrest?"
I said, "Sir, you're looking… you're… What you're looking at, you're looking at what the doctor says; I'm looking at what God said." See?
Now, it's just the difference in what you're looking at. See? You look at what the doctor says you sure will die, but you got to look at what God said. Whose word you going to take?
102 What if Abraham would've took the doctor's opinion that him being a hundred years old and going to have a baby by his wife ninety? What would he done then? See? Why, the doctor would've said, "The man's crazy."
But God imputed unto him for righteousness, because he believed God. See? Now, you… And the woman lived. She neglected being baptized in the Name of Jesus Christ, because I think she was kind of a Methodist, or Presbyterian; she started getting sicker and sicker. And she come and got Grace Weber, that lived right… lives there, here her daughter does, rode and come here and was baptized in the Name of Jesus Christ with a fever with diseases of lumps broke out all over her shoulders, and everything, with a fever of a hundred and four. And was baptized right here in the Name of Jesus Christ, and she lives just across the street from us. May be setting here now. Look around and see if I could see her a few minutes ago.
104 It's obedience. You see? It's not just going around… I differ with some of our brothers. Just laying hands on this, that, and the other, like that, and saying, some kind of a super-duper faith will do it. That's not it. You've got to have genuine, solid, Bible, Holy Ghost faith. If it don't, it will not last. It's not lasting.
61-0305 - Beyond The Curtain Of Time
Rev. William Marrion Branham
NEGLECTION OF WE BELIEVER TO WITNESS THE GOSPEL, MAKE THE WORLD NEVER KNEW NOTHING ABOUT CHRIST 7 And now, there was the Gospel must be witnessed to all the earth, beginning at Jerusalem, and to go through Judaea, Samaria, and all over the earth. And according to statistics of the church and of… We have only witnessed to one-third of the earth to this time. Two-thirds of the earth has never known or heard the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. What a disgrace for two thousand years of commission given by the Creator Himself, and we have been so neglectful, until two thirds of the population of this earth has never heard the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Now, in order to be a witness, a witness must first be qualified. In the courts of our land, in the Supreme Court, and all the courts of justice, a witness must be first examined before he can be a witness. And if the courts of our land in justice would require an examination before becoming a witness, then how much more will the God of heaven require an examination and a qualified witness before we are recognized in His sight as a correct witness.

Rev. William Marrion Branham THERE IS DANGER IN NEGLECTING HOLY SPIRIT THIRST, YOU WILL SPIRITUALLY DIE
191 So, if you neglect to feed the Holy Spirit the Word of God! Jesus said, "Every Word shall be by the Holy Spirit." And listen now. If you try to feed It the wrong thing, if It's the genuine Holy Spirit in you, It'll know the difference. Now, remember, the Word of God is what the Holy Spirit feeds on. It don't feed on enthusiasm. It don't feed on education. It doesn't feed on churchgoing. It doesn't feed on theologies. There is a lot of difference between an inspired something and a theological standpoint of it.
65-0919 - Thirst
Rev. William Marrion Branham SIN OF NEGLECTION CAN PREVENT YOU FROM RECEIVING YOU HEALING 9 Usually it's in a line of discernment. I never try to cast out a spirit, unless first I realize what I'm doing, 'cause that's a dangerous thing. Did you know that? Very dangerous unless you understand what you're doing. If you'll notice on the platform after the anointing comes, you never hear me challenge a spirit 'less firstly I see where it's God's will to do it.
Now, you say, "Is it God's will?" Well, sometime people come to the platform who many times are even not Christians, and they—they want to be healed of diseases, and maybe they have been Christians, and done something in their life, or neglected to do something, and that's the reason they can't get healed. So under that power of discernment, when the prophetic utterance goes forth, it tells you just exactly where your trouble is. That—that… Then get that out of the way first. Then God's got to heal you.

Rev. William Marrion Branham
53 Brother Roberts is praying for people the way God told him to do it. I'm doing the way God told me to do. See? So it's just slow, but I—I want to know what I'm doing. And before I condemn a Satanic spirit and so forth, I want to know first whether that's in God's legal plan. It is God's… As Brother Bosworth says, "Jesus died for everyone." That's right. Then if you're living in above that reproach and doing right, then Satan has to turn loose of you. But if there's anything back behind there, maybe something that you ought to have done, maybe you're living clean and pure; but God told you something to do and you neglected to do it, and God holds that right on you until you go back and make that thing right again, whether it's something you should've done of should not have done. Do you see what I mean?

And it succeeded here, one night we had one. And the Lord was so good to us. He let a… There was a… The papers wrote it up. And there was a—a girl here in the wheelchair, had been in here for a long time. The only wheelchair we had in the building, I believe. And she'd been… something wrong with her. And she'd neglected something, a call from the Lord. And told her, seventeen years or something she'd been in this wheelchair. And right here, when they packed her wheelchair up here and set her down, she got right up and walked out of the building, a normal, whole woman.

Rev. William Marrion Branham SATAN CAN PLAY TRICK ON YOU TO MAKE YOU JOIN CHURCH AND NEGLECT TO SEEK FOR SPIRITUAL BIRTH 31 Has Christ become such a satisfaction to you, that all your desires are all met in Him? Has He become the very fountain of your life? Or are you trying to push Him away and satisfy your longing with the lust of this world? Or in another trick of the enemy, are you trying to satisfy this longing by joining the church and neglecting that great spiritual birth, which is the only remedy that you can be saved by? For the very Author of Life said, "Except a man be borned again of the Spirit of God, he will in no wise enter in."

Rev. William Marrion Branham YOU NEGLECT TO PRAY, TO READ BIBLE YOU CAN LOST JOY OF YOUR SALVATION ATIME SPIRITUALLY 79 Now to you people that wanted to renew the joy of your salvation, and to you that… Somewhere you've lost joy. Think back what you did. Did you neglect prayer meeting? Neglect reading the Bible? Neglected praying at your home, asking the blessing at the table? Don't never do that. Oh, my! That's so—that's so unbecoming to Christians. No matter where you are, bow your head and pray. Don't be ashamed of Him. Pray anywhere, see. And if ever where you left that joy, that whatever weeded it out, what little root of bitterness come in…
Remember, when a man is saved, this much… like this button here… becomes Eternal Life in your heart. That's God. As you're able to push out all the roots of bitterness, then God begins to spread in you. Then you become a son of God.

Rev. William Marrion Branham DEVIL GIVE YOU SPIRIT O NEGLECTION AND YOU PAY FOR IT'. E.G. IF YOU NEGLECT TO GIVE GOD GLORY, TO PRAISE, AND TO TESTIFY YOU WILL BECOME COLD, FORMAL, AND BACKSLIDED Certainly. "How shall we escape, if we neglect such?" You neglect to eat, you'll die. You neglect to turn a corner, you'll wreck. You neglect to milk the cow, she'll go dry. You neglect your teeth, you'll have to have them all pulled out. Certainly. You pay for your neglection.
85 O Branham Tabernacle and you visitors, let me tell you something now. You neglect to testify of the glory of God, you neglect to give God the praise and glory, you'll find yourself cold, formal, and backslidden, one of these days. You give God praise. "How shall we escape, if we neglect such a great salvation?"

Rev. William Marrion Branham NEGLECTION SPIRIT MAKE YOU PLACE CHRIST IN A CORNER HAVING TWO MINUTES PRAYER IN A DAY, NEVER READ BIBLE IN A WEEK 51 How many in here really feels your guilt of neglecting Him, place Him off in some little corner somewhere, of a little two minute prayer a day, or maybe never read His Word once a week, yet, you belong to church. And you say, "I'm sorry that I've done Jesus that way. I want to repent right now." Will you raise up your hand, say, "Christ I want to repent." Oh, God bless you. There's at least a hundred hands up. You feel that you've mistreated the Lord Jesus.
I don't care what church you belong to. That doesn't matter. Might be Methodist, Baptist, Presbyterian, Catholic, Lutheran, that doesn't matter. Have you realized that you've mistreated Jésus? And you know you're guilty. You don't pray; you don't worship Him.
Would you like to walk up here at the altar just now with me, and say, "Lord, from this day on, I'll take You. I want to serve you from today on with a true reverent heart." I'll wait on you. Move right up out of your seat now. With your heads bowed, the rest. Just give them room as they walk out. I want to see every person that raised their hands and those who are convinced that you've mistreated Him. Would you just stand here for a word of prayer, then you go right back to your seat, just before we close.
